Plan a Rainforest Habitat
The rainforest habitat is being destroyed. What if you could create a new habitat for animals? Work with a partner or group to plan a habitat for one of the following animals.

Teacher Note
Begin by breaking your students into groups of 2 or 3 children. Show them the graphic of the engineering design process on page 6 in their Rainforest Detective Notebooks, and explain that they will be following these steps as they create their animal habitats.
