Preserving the Rainforest

Many animals and plants have lost their homes because of deforestation. Can you think of a way that you could help? One way is to preserve , or keep, the rainforest by planting more trees to replace the ones that are cut down.

Do you know what plants need to survive? Plants need sunlight and water to survive.

Did you know that the wind can blow seeds to different areas and new plants will grow? The rain and sun will help the seeds to take root in the ground.

Trees and plants provide homes and food that many rainforest animals need to survive.
